Welcome to the Woof & Wag Dog Area – a highlight of the Mid Devon Show where four‑legged friends are the stars of the day! Whether you’re bringing your dog to join in the fun or simply watching from the sidelines, this relaxed and joyful space offers entertainment for all canine lovers.

🎉 What’s On

  • Fun Family Dog Show – Open to all dogs with classes like Best Puppy, Best Veteran, Best Trick, Waggiest Tail and more. Every participant receives a lovely rosette, and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place rosettes are awarded in each class. Entry is only ÂŁ1 and you can just turn up and join in!

  • Flyball Demonstrations – Enjoy thrilling displays from talented teams from the Two Bridges Fly‑Ball Team, and afterwards your own dog can have a go!

  • Agility & Canine Fun – Cheer on dogs weaving through agility courses, leaping hurdles, and showcasing impressive speed and skills.

The Woof & Wag area is all about fun and inclusivity – whether your dog is a seasoned show‑stopper or just wants to wag and play. There are plenty of opportunities throughout the day for visitors and their canine companions to take part, spectate, and enjoy a memorable show experience together.

Our Fun Family Dog Show continues to be a great success. With nearly 200 dogs taking part and everyone receiving a lovely rosette for taking part.
It was great fun seeing everyone getting involved and enjoying this relaxed chance to show off their dogs.

2026 Dog Show promises to continue and be one of the visitors favourites.
Only ÂŁ1 to enter with Rosettes awarded for all categories.
Its a relaxed affair and you can arrive at the dog ring and just join in.
1st, 2nd and 3rd place rosettes awarded for each class

Fast, fun and full of excitement, the flyball demonstrations are a real crowd-pleaser! Watch teams of super-charged dogs sprint down the lane, clear hurdles, trigger the flyball box and race back at top speed — it’s agility, teamwork and pure enthusiasm all rolled into one.

 you don’t just have to watch! With the flyball arena located right next to the dog ring, you and your own dog can take part in the action during the popular have-a-go sessions. Whether your dog is a seasoned athlete or simply keen to try something new, it’s a brilliant chance to get involved, learn from experienced handlers and enjoy the buzz of this high-energy sport.

Get ready for fast paws and flying fun as Barnstaple & District Dog Agility take to the ring with two exciting agility demonstrations during the day. Watch as talented dogs and handlers work together to tackle jumps, tunnels and obstacles with speed, skill and precision — it’s always a fantastic spectacle for dog lovers.

After the demonstrations, the fun continues with have-a-go sessions, for just £2 visiting dogs are invited to try agility for themselves. Whether your dog is a natural athlete or just curious to have a go, it’s a brilliant opportunity to get involved, learn from experienced handlers and enjoy some active fun together.
