A varied demonstration of various old style crafts including spinning & weaving, wood turning, felt making, a yurt and several more. You are welcome to join in & try the crafts.
An excellent selection of vintage cars of all different types and sizes. Most of these have been lovingly restored to their former glory by the owner. A wide variety of motorcycles is also included in this area.
The Small Animals marquee contains a full rabbit '3 Star' competition, an exhibition of all kinds of Poultry including ducks etc. and NEW FOR 2008 a Cavie exhibition.
This is a themed part of the show where a farming topic is chosen and implements and tractors are exhibited to depict the theme. Some of these tractors & implements can also be seen working as part of the On Farm Demonstrations.
Top quality local Livestock will be on show, Mid Devon has one of the best reputations for the Cattle, Sheep, Pigs and Angora Goats clases in the Westcountry.
The Craft Marquee hosts & extremely high quality of craft work which is also demonstrated by the exhibitors. Approximately 40 separate stands are included & nearly all are different. Well worth a visit.
Tiverton Museum
The Tiverton Museum puts on an exceptional themed display in this area with many rare & special exhibits included and incorporates displays from the Grand Western Canal Trust.
The flower arrangements in this marquee are of exceptional quality with exhibitors from the local Flower Arranging & Garden Clubs displaying a variety of horticultural features.
Exe Valley Group of Young Farmers Rally
The Exe Valley Group of Young Farmers Clubs holds their annual Rally at this event & have a wide variety of competitions to join in. Anything from cakes & jams to art & wood work skills, growing vegetables to valuing farm machinery & showing livestock is included in the Young Farmers exhibit.
All the local Churches come together to participate in this display marquee but where you are also very welcome to sit for a while & take some refreshment.
Womens Institute Exhibition A competition between the local Clubs is run at this event as well as having top quality produce available for sale from the Country Markets
Many of the different Clubs within the local area have a stand in this marquee, there is also a stage area where the Clubs put on shows throughout the day.

Developing from small beginnings in the last few years this area has now expanded and will include a variety of countryside skills & hobbies to experience and learn about as well as a Ring programme.

An original concept at the Mid Devon Show where a large area, adjacent to the
show field is set aside for working demonstrations in two sessions during the day. We start with heavy horses working through to the Vintage machinery and finally the one-pass behemoths of
today's agriculture.
